Angela and Brian's perfect Sunday morning wedding is definitely one for the books. It was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at the lovely Century Barn in Peterborough with views to please any nature lover. Brunch has got to be a favourite of mine. Pair it with a wedding, some pretty spectacular venders and a view to dream about! Century Barn was such an amazing venue to shoot at and owners Susan and Dave truly made us all feel as though we were family visiting their gorgeous home and farm. 

Wedding details are an absolute favourite of mine to shoot. It's what helps tell the story. Angela and Brian worked with some incredible vendors to say the least. The amazingly talented Mint Floral & Co. designed such a stunning palette of colours for Angela's bouquet and decor. Paired with the gorgeous sweet table and super beautiful naked cakes created by Enticing Cakes it was absolutely one of the prettiest sweet table's we've seen. I always say that I have the best job ever. But really, I feel like I do. I get to spend my days documenting life, in all it’s craziness and beauty. I get to be apart of peoples families, share in some of the most intimate moments and celebrate both the good and sometimes not always good moments life has to offer. Photographing weddings is by far one of my favourite things. Being apart of one of the happiest days any two people can experience is pretty incredible. From beginning to end, we are there. From the moment the dress goes on, and sometimes till the last song is played, we are there…along for the ride, sharing in all the excitement, nerves and love a wedding day offers. You will often find us too, sniffling away behind our cameras as we watch with teary eyes some of the most beautiful moments unravel right before us. It’s precious, it’s beautiful, it’s uplifting, and I simply feel lucky to be able to document these moments and preserve some of these memories.

This past Fall, Brooke and Jarett tied the knot at the lovely Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. We certainly couldn't have asked for a better day. Elmhurst was beautiful and with an outdoor ceremony set in the most gorgeous valley and these two...what more could we ask for! Brooke was as stunning as ever and simply took our breath away with her grace and beauty. We absolutely adored spending the day with their closest friends and family. I truly feel so fortunate to do what I do. Most weekends we get to spend our Saturdays with amazing couples and families and be apart of one of the most exciting day in any couples life. A few weeks ago, we spent the day with Colin and Nicolette. This wedding was simply stunning and these two couldn't possibly be more in love.

We recently teamed up with Valentino's Academy in Whitby to shoot their first ever graduating class of 2016. With several stylists graduating the recently launched program, the students had the opportunity to create a look and style based on a theme Pamela (director of education at the Academy) and Christine Cousins (Photographer for Carbon + Craft) had set out as inspiration. We really wanted to play with the gorgeous natural light the studio offers, so we set out to create a soft and natural feel to the shoot. With hints of ivy adorning the studio walls, we really wanted to embrace an organic feel to the styles the students created on their models.

As we opened the doors this past weekend to our brand new studio space, I simply couldn't be more excited about the incredible images we shot...we had gorgeous light streaming in through our oversized windows and an incredibly talented to team to work with. A huge thank you goes out to the talented Raquel Moore of Moore Beauty, who was on makeup, Heather Johnston, for hair, and Christine Cousins, for photography. And of course our stunning and talented models who worked the space beautifully. Looking forward to creating more incredible moments here in our new home!

We welcomed little Braydon into our studio this past weekend. He's officially the first newborn to be photographed in our new space, and oh my was he an angel. Sleeping his entire session away, Braydon was absolutely perfect in every way. Enjoy a little sneak peek from his gorgeous session.
